While I believe this would work with github enterprise it breaks selfhosted runners like act and gitea/forjego actions.
Don't assume protocol is HTTPS

Yeah, I did this wrong the first time. It's applicable to my day job so I'll put some real time into making sure this works this week. |

While assuming HTTPS probably works with github enterprise it won't work with self-hosted runners like act, gitea, and forjego.
