v0.8.0
What's Changed
- Adds a "Now Playing" item to the Command Palette home page. Users can now see and control playback directly from this item—including skipping tracks or switching media apps.
- Introduces new commands to switch between media applications from the "Now Playing" command.
- Adds an option to keep the Command Palette open or dismiss it after activating a command.
- Commands can now provide feedback using toast notifications, which can be turned on or off in settings.
- Users can now hide the Next/Previous track commands from the Media Controls page to save space. These commands remain available in the More menu of "Now Playing," any media session, or via keyboard shortcuts.
- Improves icon updates and reduces UI jitter when switching media or applications.
- Now runs in eco mode, saving performance, battery, and the planet.
v0.4.0
What's new in this version
- We chased down some pesky bugs and gave performance a fresh cup of coffee, so everything should run a little smoother and snappier now!
- There’s a major upgrade in the ability to switch to the application playing the media, especially for PWAs and desktop applications.
- We’ve also extended top-level commands like "/play", "/pause", "/mute", and "/skip", allowing you to execute commands directly. A new option in Settings lets you enable or disable these commands as you prefer.
