Summary of Changes
Hello @mattKorwel, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!
This pull request improves the reliability of the continuous integration pipeline by standardizing how environment variables are passed to test commands. This change specifically targets the end-to-end test suite, ensuring that tests run consistently regardless of the underlying operating system or CI environment.
Highlights
- CI/CD Reliability: Ensures consistent environment variable setting for e2e tests across different operating systems by utilizing cross-env in the package.json scripts.
- Build Script Update: Modified the test:integration:sandbox:none script in package.json to prepend cross-env to the command.

Code Review
This pull request adds cross-env
to the test:integration:sandbox:none
script to improve cross-platform compatibility, which is a good improvement. However, the fix is incomplete as other integration test scripts (test:integration:sandbox:docker
and test:integration:sandbox:podman
) still set environment variables in a platform-dependent way. I've recommended updating these scripts as well for consistency and to ensure all tests can run across different operating systems.
