      Lightwave explorer is an open source nonlinear optics simulator, intended to be fast, visual, and flexible for students and researchers to play with ultrashort laser pulses and nonlinear optics without having to buy a laser first.             LogarithmPlotter is, as it's name suggests, a plotter made with logarithm scales in mind. With an object system similar to Geogebra's, it allows dynamic creation of both logarithmic-scaled and non logarithmic-scaled plots with very few limitations.

      PoMiDAQ is a recording software for UCLA Miniscopes for neuroscientific research.
      It provides an easy way to record videos from Miniscopes, create Z-stacks to give an
      overview of visible cells or tissue features and provides an online background subtraction
      feature to gain an initial insight into cellular calcium activity while data is recorded.
      Recorded data is encoded with the FFV1 codec by default, to allow for smaller,
      lossless video files that are safe to archive.
    
      
      The software is designed to work with the latest OpenCV libraries and provides a shared library,
      so Miniscope recording features can easily be embedded into other programs and pipelines.
      PoMiDAQ will work with Miniscope V3, V4 and the Siminiscope hardware using the standard
      DAQ box v3.2.

FIPS is a cross-platform FITS viewer with responsive user interface. Unlike
other FITS viewers FIPS uses GPU hardware via OpenGL to provide usual
functionality such as zooming, panning and level adjustments. OpenGL 2.1 and
later is supported.
	
      
FIPS supports all 2D image formats (excluding floating point for OpenGL 2.1).

      Veusz is an interactive graphical scientific plotting and
      graphing package. It is designed to produce publication-ready
      PDF output. SVG, EMF and bitmap export formats are also
      supported. Data can be read from text, CSV, HDF5 or FITS
      files. In addition, you can also enter, manipulate or examine
      data from within the application.  The program also provides a
      command line and scripting interface (based on Python) to its
      plotting facilities. It can also act as a Python plotting
      module.
    
      
      In Veusz plots are created by building up plotting widgets with
      a consistent object-based interface. Plotting types support by
      Veusz include the following: x-y, function, contour, image,
      stepped, date, vector field, box, polar, ternary, nested and
      stacked. Plots can also include multiple axes.

GNU PSPP is a program for the statistical analysis of sampled data. It is a Free replacement for the proprietary program SPSS, and appears very similar to it with a few exceptions. The most important of these exceptions are, that there are no “time bombs”; your copy of PSPP will not “expire” or deliberately stop working in the future. Neither are there any artificial limits on the number of cases or variables which you can use. There are no additional packages to purchase in order to get “advanced” functions; all functionality that PSPP currently supports is in the core package.
      PSPP is a stable and reliable application. It can perform descriptive statistics, T-tests, anova, linear and logistic regression, measures of association, cluster analysis, reliability and factor analysis, non-parametric tests and more. bibref is a tool that helps discovering internal references in the Bible. It aims at finding citations of the Septuagint in the Greek New Testament in a mechanical way.
      
      
        The Bible, a book that has been translated into many languages, is maybe the most important book has ever existed. Believers have evidence that it is God's word, written by various people being inspired by God himself.
      
      
        The Bible has many internal references. Many of them connect the two parts of the Bible: the Old Testament and the New Testament. The books of the Old Testament are usually written in Hebrew, while the books of the New Testament are Greek. A natural question can arise: How can Hebrew texts be cited in the Greek text?
      
      
        There are several research projects on this, and today it seems to be clear that many authors of the New Testament cited a Greek translation of the Hebrew text, namely the Septuagint, that was widely popular in the first centuries, and still popular in some Christian churches. Many Bible translations, however, mostly use only the Hebrew text as a basis of the Old Testament, because the importance of the Septuagint is not yet widely identified.
      
      
        This software project attempts to support finding citations of the Septuagint in the New Testament automatically. The work is based on The SWORD Project.
      
      
        The bibref package offers several tools that help in comparing the verses of the Septuagint with the verses of the Greek New Testament. The tools consider the texts of full books of the Bible as one unit instead of considering just separated verses. The texts are provided by the SWORD project from the modules LXX and SBLGNT. In the newest versions the module StatResGNT is also supported.

BKChem supports bond-bybond trying with templates. It supports linear fomulars, and a subset of SMILES as well as InChI. Arrows, rich text, color, charges, radicals and simple vector shapes can be used. It has aligning, unlimited undo/redo, rotation features. Export to SVG, OpenOffice Draw, ODF, EPS, PDF and PNG is possible. Basic support for CML1 and CML2 as well as Molfiles is available.

      Lachesis is the frontend of the control platform. This application allows you to configure the hardware, execute system response tests and run controllers with an easy to use interface. The used input and output signals, as well as variables, can be seen graphically, updating in real time. It works only as a frontend, meaning that all data is stored and managed in/by the moirai server. The server is also responsible for executing the controller. That means that you can install moirai in a dedicated computer, like a Raspberry Pi, and Lachesis in another one, using Lachesis like a remote control for your control system. This allows various user to share plant configuration.

SasView is an open source Small Angle Scattering (SAS) analysis package used to analyze 1D and 2D scattering data in inverse space. Originally focused on neutron data (SANS), the package has been extended for X-ray scattering and correlation space methods such as SESANS and Interferometry. SasView includes a number of other features, include PrView to invert SAS data to P(r), a resolution calculator, and a scattering length density calculator, to name a few. The package also has a simple plugin mechanism for users to add custom models.
