You can use basic Google Vids features with your Google Account. To use Gemini features in Vids, you can check your account type in the table below.

Important:
- For work or school accounts, your admin controls access to Google Vids and can turn off access to generative AI features.
- Make sure you sign in with the correct Google Account that can access the feature.
On your computer, you can use Gemini features in Google Vids with these account types:

Language availability

View & edit videos
You can view videos that have been shared with you on your computer, or your Android or iOS device.
Users with a Google Account can edit or comment on a vid on a computer if the owner has granted you comment or edit access.
For users with a work or school account, if you can’t access a video that has been shared with you, check with your admin.
