Hi 👋,
First of all, thank you for building this amazing JavaScript learning resource! The multi-language support and clean documentation structure are awesome.
As a frontend developer, I was exploring how I could contribute and I noticed some improvement opportunities for the homepage (https://javascript.sumankunwar.com.np/) that could enhance the overall user experience and accessibility.
Suggested Enhancements:
Why: The homepage has a minimal hero section, but it lacks a visual hierarchy, and onboarding guidance for first-time visitors.
Suggestions:
Add a hero section at the top with:
A short tagline like “Learn JavaScript in Your Language”
One-line value prop (e.g., “Free, beginner-friendly JS tutorials in 6+ languages”)
Optional CTA (e.g., scroll down to choose language)
Why: Many learners come looking for JavaScript basics but there's no shortcut to the content from the homepage.
Suggestions:
Add a section below the language grid with visual cards linking to major topics:
Example cards: “Basics”, “Loops”, “Functions”, “JSON”
Could auto-scroll to chapter list of the English version
Why: The current cards are functional but can be more intuitive and engaging.
Suggestions:
Add country flags
Add a small “X downloads” stat badge based on usage_
I’d love to contribute this UI update as a PR if you're open to it.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks again for this project!
Shruti Sharma
