Using a supported version?

• I have searched searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

Clearing the Search field behaves in a counter-intuitive way when searching through a conversation: when I click to remove a contact badge (or whatever it is named), I expect to remove only the contact badge (and hence search all chats), not clear the whole search field.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to any chat
2. Click the chat’s Search icon (looking glass) on the top-right corner
3. The contact "badge" is added to the Search field on the top-left corner
4. Type any search words
5. Click on the contact badge to remove it

Expected result

Only the contact badge is deleted

Actual result

The whole search field is cleared (contact badge + search words)
